Nepotism

Nepotism specifically refers to scenarios in which the related employee simply isn't fit for the position, or unfairly advantaged in the workplace.

Is it a crime?

Probably Not as It is said to be punishable in the public sector but not illegal in the private sector.

Explanation:

Nepotism is based on the favouritism. which is given or provided to the relatives in various fields, including business, politics, entertainment, sports, religion and other activities.

Nepotism in itself is not illegal or crime, but discriminating people on the basis of caste, creed, sex, religion to much extent is rather bad.

For example, A company owner is allowed to hire a daughter, son, sibling, friend, or any other person they like, even if that person is not suitable for the job, but illegally discriminating worker or co-worker on the workplace to the severe extent is illegal.

Plz mark it as brainliest.
