The concept of nerve impulse  is as follows:

  • In the way nerve cell communicate with each other.
  • This is mainly electrical signals along with dendrites.
  • Action potential is produced by this.
  • The action potential is caused by moving of ions in and out of cell.
  • Across the membrane ions moves, this results nerve impulse which begins with stimulation in a neuron by other one or environment.
