Nerves are the carriers of messages. There are nerves everywhere on our body. When we touch something, we sense it. That sensation is carried by the nerves to the brain. Only then we get that feeling. This happens in less than a second. Then the brain sends a message back. The Spinal Cord is a collection of nerves connected to the Brain Stem along our back.

Nerve is a bundle of fibres in the body which transmits impulses to the brain and the spinal cord.
