What is network topology explain different types of network topology?
Answers
Answer:
topology defines the geographical physical and logical arrangement of computer networking devices. the topology defines the way in which various nodes or computer of a network are linked together
its types are -
1. Bus Topology - in bus Topology there is s central cable which joins all the computer in a system the cable is known as backbone of the network.
2.Star topology- in this type of network each device is connected to a central computer , generally server using a point to point connection. the central server acts as a hub.
3. Ring Topology- all the computers in the network are connected in a circular manner.
4.Mesh topology- in this topology each computer is connected go every computer.
5. Tree topology- it is the most common type of topology that consists of a group of star figured work stations connected to a linear bus backbone cable.
6. Hybrid topology- hybrid topology is a combination of the 2 or more network topologies thr individual network could be a star , bus, ring or even a mesh but the star and ring topology are used the most.

hey mate your answer is here please mark me as brainliest and give me 20 thanks please...
The pattern of interconnection of devices to form a network is called network topology.
The factors that affect choice of topology are -
Cost
Fleibility
Reliability
Scalability
Ease of installation
Types of topology are:-
point to point topology
bus topology
star topology
ring topology
mesh topology
tree topology
Daisy chain
hybrid topology
point-to-point topology
point to point network contain exactly two hosts or computers connected using a cable. In point to point to topology receiving end of one host is connected to sending and of the other host and vice versa.
bus topology
in case of bus topology all devices share single communication line or cable.Bus topology may have a small hits by multiple hosts are sending data at the same time.
star topology
Using a point to point connection all host in star topology connected to a central device known as the device can be any of the following:-
layer 1 hub or repeater
layer 2 switch or bridge
layer 3 router or gateway
ring topology
ring topology host machine connects to two other machines for circular network structure.
mesh topology
In this topology is host is connected to one or more hosts. This topology has hosts and point to point connection.
tree topology
tree topology is also called hierarchical topology. This is the most commonly used form of network topology.
Daisy chain
this topology has connections with all the hosts in linear fashion .All intermediate hosts work as relay for its next immediate hosts.
hybrid topology
A topology which contains more than one topology is said to be hybrid topology.
example:- tree topology
