Definition

==>A neuron is the basic working unit of the brain.It is formed by many specialized cells

and they are designed to receive and transmit signals to the other cell., muscles. Most neurons has is divided into three parts ..cell body,axon and dendrons.

1)sensory neurones transmit impulses from a receptor to the central location in the nervous system(spinal cord ,brain).

2) a motor neurone transmits signals from central location to an effector,such as muscles.
