Hi friend...

Now for understanding neutralisation reaction.

First we understand what is neutralisation..

Neutralisation means process involving in which two substances tend to its neutral state( stable state).

Now definition:------

when acid reacts with base to form salt and water is called neutralisation reaction.

ex:- when potassium hydroxide reacts with hydrochloric acid potassium chloride and water is formed.

=} KOH + HCl -------> KCl + H2O

=) here salt forming is KCl is neutral salt but note that it is not necessary that salt always formed is neutral .It mat be acidic as well as basic .

HOPE IT WILL HELP U....

When acids react with bases the final product is salt and water.

This reaction is called NEUTRALIZATION reaction.
__________________________

There are of two types :
1) Neutralization
2) Neutralization ( titration involved )
____________________________

In the first one Insoluble Base reacts with an acid to form salt and water.
Example:
Cu(OH)2 + H2SO4 ---------> CuSO4 +2H2O
____________________________

In the second one Soluble Base reacts with acid to form salt and water.
Example :
NaOH + HCl -----------> NaCl + H2O
