neutralization reaction means when acid and base are mixed salt and water are produced is called neutralization reaction

acid + base = salt + water

ex:

1.   HCl + NaOH ------------------>  NaCl + H2O

2.  H2SO4 + NaOH ---------------------> NaSo4 + H2O
