when acid NAD base react with each other then form salt and water. Such reaction r called neutralization reaction.
they are called so because the salt and water are neutral.

-HCl(acid) +NaOH(base)---->NaCl (salt)+ H2O(water)

When acid react with base to form salt and water is known as neutrilization reaction . They are called so because when acid and base react they form salt and salt and water is neutral in nature so it is called neutrilization reaction. Ex- NaoH + HCL ----- NaCl + H20
