according to Newlands law of octaves , when elements are arranged in order of their increasing atomic masses ,the eighth element resembles the first in physical and chemical properties just like the eighth note on a musical scales resembles the first note.

1.it states that that the chemical and physical property of the 8 element is similar to that of the first .similar to that of musical notes..for eg -in musical notes..sa,re,ga ,ma,pa ,da,ne,[sa(8)]
