Newton's Law of gravitation is called Newton's fourth law. It states that every point mass attracts every other point mass by a force acting along the line intersecting both points. The force is proportional to the product of the two masses, and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them.

Fourth Law of Motion is often also described in the bibliography, which states that forces add up like vectors, that is, that forces obey the principle of superposition.

This law is refferd as 4th law but Newton never announced this as law. What is in it not understandable.?

In Sir Isaac Newton's Book Principia there are total 5 laws. 1st, 2nd and 3rd are said to be laws of motion and other two are as follows

4th law : Space is absolute and irrespective of anything.

5th law : Time is absolute and irrespective of anything.

Both last 2 laws were proven wrong in Special Theory of Relatively by Einstein.
