NEWTON'S LAWS OF MOTION ARE - 
1st law - Every object in a state of uniform motion tends to remain in that state of motion unless an external force is applied to it.
2nd law - 
In an inertial reference frame, the vector sum of the forces F on an object is equal to the mass m of that object multiplied by the acceleration vector a of the object: F = ma.
3rd law - 
For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.

Newton's First Law of Motion: I. Every object in a state of uniform motion tends to remain in that state of motion unless an external force is applied to it. This we recognize as essentially Galileo's concept of inertia, and this is often termed simply the "Law of Inertia".
