Newton's third law is action reaction law.

For every action done, there is a corresponding reaction with the same force but in opposite direction. For ex, when a gun is fired, the bullet goes out and the gun slightly moves backward or When a rocket is launched the fire is thrown downward and due to reaction force it moves upwards
