New International Economic Order.
Most of the developing countries did not benefit form the fast growth the Western economics experienced in the 1950s and 1960s.
Therefore they organised themselves as G-77 of Group of 77 to demand NIEO.
By the NIEO they meant a system of that would give them real control over their natural resources and better access for their manufactured goods.
