✨ According to the constitution, the Council of Ministers are stay in office only so long as it enjoys the confidence of the Lok Sabha, once the confidence is withdrawn the government is bound to resign. the rules of parliamentary procedure accordingly provide for moving a motion to ascertain this confidence. the motion is generally known as the 'non - confidence motion'.
