Noise pollution :-

Sources that are producing some noise that is uncomfortable or people and causes disturbance in the environment is known as noise pollution.

Sound that is more than 90 decibal, when heard for long time causes noise pollution.

Harmful effects of noise pollution :-

  • It causes headache, earache, tension and high blood pressure.
  • It causes lack of concentration in certain task.
  • When high noise is heard for a long time, hurts our eardrum and may lead to problem in hearing.

Measures of stop noise pollution :-

  • Automobiles should have soft horns.
  • We should not use horns of vehicles unnecessarily, it should not be blown near hospitals as it may create problem for some patients.
  • We should not paly music or radio loudly.
  • Avoid bursting crackers that make a lot of noise.
