Hey friend,

Here's your answer,

WHAT ARE NOMADIC TRIBES?

Nomads are people who travel from one place to other and that they do not settle at one particular place. They move from one place to another in search of food, water and shelter.

There are many nomadic tribes / pastoral tribes in India . They include :

1. Gujjar Bakarwals of Jammu and Kashmir
2. Gaddis of Himanchal Pradesh
3. Bhotiyas of Haryana
4. Dhangars of Maharashtra
5. Monpas of Arunachal Pradesh
6. Raikas of Rajasthan
7. Maldharis of Gujarat

THE FACTORS AFFECTING MOVEMENT OF PASTORAL COMMUNITIES ARE :

1. Climatic factors :
In winters, when the mountains are covered with snow, these communities shift towards the lower of hills of Shiwaliks.
Some of them decide their movement with the rainfall. They move towards the barren lands in monsoon and start their backward journey in winter.

2. Fodder : Fodder for animals is another factor that decides their movement.

3. Food grains :
The proper availability of food grains is another factor affecting the migration of pastoralist communities in India.

Hope this helps!!!
