The nominative case is one of the grammatical cases of a noun or other parts of speech, which generally marks the subject of a verb or predicate noun or predicate adjective, as opposed to its object or the other verb arguments. Generally, a noun or a pronoun which is used as a subject of a verb is in nominative case. For example- The boy saw her. Here the boy is in nominative case.
