forces that do not store energy are called nonconservative or dissipative forces Friction is a nonconservative, and there are others. Any friction-type forces, like air resistance, is a nonconservative force. The energy that it removes from the system is no longer available to the system for kinetic energy.

for example

gravitational force

✨ NON -CONSERVATIVE FORCE ✨

⚡A force is said to be non conservative if work done by or against the force in moving a body from one position to another, depends on the path followed between these two positions and for complete cycle this work done can never be zero and there is change in kinetic energy of a round trip.

✴ for example:-

✨ friction force, viscous force etc.
