Non-contact force:

  • In non-contact forces, there is no physical contact between the objects.
  • Without physical contact, this force is act on an object.

The examples of non-contact forces are as follows:

1) Gravity is an example of non-contact forces.

  • Gravity is the force of which attracts all bodies.
  • The bodies that have mass gravity attract those bodies.

2) Electromagnetism force has interaction between electrically charged particles.

  • In the electromagnetic field, the interaction between electrically charged particles happens.
  • For example electricity, magnetism, radio waves, microwaves, X-rays, and gamma rays.

3) Strong nuclear force:

  • A strong nuclear force takes place between fundamental particles within a nucleus.

4) Weak nuclear force:

  • The weak nuclear force mediates the β decay of a neutron.

Non-contact force:

As we know that in non-contact forces, there is no physical contact between the objects.  Without physical contact, this force is act on an object.

Following are the two examples of non-contact forces are as follows:

As we know that the Gravity is the force of which attracts all bodies.
