There are two types of non terminating decimal expansions

1. Non terminating recurring

e.g. 1.343434

In this the no. after decimal repeat

upto infinity.

2. Non terminating non recurring

e.g. π = 3.14159.....

In this the no. after decimal continues upto infinity without repeating
