Explanation:

Non-Uniform Motion. A body is said to be in a non-uniform motion if it travels unequal distances in equal intervals of time.

Non uniform motion

A body has a non- uniform motion if it travels in unequal distance in equal intervals of time. for example if we drop drop a ball from the roof of a tall building, you will find that it covers unequal distance in equal intervals of time it covers:

4.9 metres in the first 1 sec

and 14.7 metres in the 2 sec .

and 24.5 metres in the 3 sec and so on..

the distance time graph for a body having non uniform motion is a curved line.

Arohi28876: what if the time intervals are equal and distances are unequal
Arohi28876: is it then also non uniform
Anonymous: see my answer example ....
Arohi28876: sry....i wanted to ask that what if time intervals are unequal
Arohi28876: and distances are equal
Arohi28876: hey...answer it
adityachoudhury53: If time intervals are unequal and distances are equal then also it is known as non uniform motion
Arohi28876: ok
