Noun is a word in English that refers to a name of a person, thing, object, place etc.

Verb is a word that describes any action being taken or has taken.  Any action done by the subject in the sentence.

Narayan, Hyderabad, Pen , computer  are nouns.
To run,  ran,  has written,    are verbs.
