Hi friend,

Your answer:

A novel is an extended work of prose fiction. The typical novels are generally in the 60,000 to 80,000 word range.

If you want to write a novel, then first you must know your plot points, characters, setting very well and must have a very good grip on your vocabulary.

Some tips for novel writing:-

i) Try reading more and more and finding inspiration for your novel.

ii) When you start writing, then dont focus on writing about a particular genre only, widen your approach.

iii) Analyse the works of some good authors.

iv) Have characters that seem realistic.

v) Listen to real life conversations.

vi) Develop your own style of writing.

vii) Write a story that you want to tell and not what others want to hear.

Tips to write an interesting novel:-

i) Make use of HCM or Heart clutching moments.

ii) Have elements of surprise.

iii) Make your reader feel like they are a part of your story.

iv) Use imagery details.

v) Incorporate sub plots in your story.

vi) Have a reliable POV like first person or third person.

vii) Make the narrator remain consistent in his/her tone throughout the novel.

Hope it helps!
