Answer:

NRC - NATIONAL REGISTER OF CITIZENS

CAA - CITIZENSHIP AMENDMENT ACT

Explanation:

NRC AND CAA :

  1. NRC is the register maintained by National government has the information of people in the Assam
  2. At present it is used only for Assam.
  3. CAA is the recent act which was amended by central government recently.
  4. CAA is applicable only to the Hindu, Buddhist, Sikh, Jain, Christian and Parsi minorities from Pakistan, Afghanistan and Bangladesh, who faced persecution on the basis of their religion. Only those minorities will gain benefit from the law who entered India on or before December 31, 2014. The law does not apply to any other foreigners including Muslims, migrating to India from any other country.

My Opinion on CAA and NRC :

AT present many protests being conducted on CAA in india .

The reason is they are thinking that it leads to the destroying of muslims in india but it is not correct because the CAA is about people migrating from the above mentioned three countries not for Indians .

The main reason is not giving citizenship for muslims from the above countries is that those three countries are Muslim countries so there will be no persecution on them on basis of religion so our government is not giving citizenship for muslims from these countries.
