NREGA

National rural employment guarantee act 2005.

⭐It is an indian labour law and social security measures which aims to guarantee the " right to work " .

⭐100 days assured employment every year to each rural household.

⭐If an applicant is not employed within 15 days , he/she is entitled to a daily unemployment allowance.

⭐The government have to establish Central Employment Guarantee Funds and State Employment Guarantee Funds for the implementation of the scheme.

⭐The scheme is to be extended to 600 districts.
