Hey !!

The atomic nucleus contain two types of particles, protons and neutrons. While a proton has a positive charge, a neutron is electrically neutral. Because of repulsive force between the protons, we can expect nucleus to be unstable, but it is stable. This means that a very strong attractive force should exist between the nucleons in a nucleus and is called nuclear forces.

This force is certainly different nucleonic masses because gravitational forces are too weak compared to electrostatic forces for a given separation.

GOOD LUCK !!
