Nucleoid is a irregular structure of genetic material like dna , rna , chromosomes , etc . Which represents the nucleus of the prokaryotic cells . In nucleoid Genetic materials are not organised in a particular area .

Nucleoid is found in the cells of prokaryotic organisms like bacteria.

Nucleoid is the genetic material of the cell which is not surrounded by a nuclear membrane. It is present in the prokaryotic cells.

It lacks the membrane that is found around the nucleus of eukaryotic cells.
