What is number line? how to add without number line -11+ (-7)

number is line with both positive and negative numbers.

Solution:

-11 + (-7)
=) -11 + -7 (First we'll remove the brackets)
=) -11 -7 (Then we'll multiply the signs that are (+) × (-) = (-)
=) -18
