Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC)
The MoEFCC works for the conservation of natural resources, biodiversity, forests and wildlife of India.
It is the agency which plans, promotes, co-ordinates, and oversees the programmes related to the conservation of all the above mentioned things.
Prakash Javadekar is the current minister of MoEFCC.
While implementing these policies/programmes, the ministry keeps in mind the following things :-
- Sustainable Development
- Human well-being enrichment
and also the other policies related to it are followed as well.
The objectives of the Ministry are :-
- Conservation of flora, fauna, forests, wildlife.
