an instant insoluble white precipitate is formed which is bas04.

bacl2+ na2so4= bas04+ 2nacl

.it is a double displacement reaction

When sodium sulphate and barium chloride is mixed we will observe the formation of WHITE PRECIPITATE barium sulphate.

CHEMICAL EQUATION:

Na2SO4(aq)+ BaCl2(aq) ———->

2NaCl(aq) + BaSo4(s)

TYPE OF REACTION: double displacement reaction (OR) precipitation reaction.
