What is observed when a solution of sodium sulphate is added to a solution of barium
chloride taken in a test tube ? Write equation for the chemical reaction involved and

A white precipitate of barirrm sulphate insoluble in water is observed. It is a double displacement reaction.

Hence , the reaction will be

Na2SO4(aq) + BaCl2(aq) BaSO4(s) + 2NaCl(aq)
