When sodium sulphate solution and barium chloride solutions are mixed, we observe the formation of a white precipitate (insoluble solid substance) of Barium Sulphate and common salt (NaCl) as products. It is a precipitation reaction or in simpler classification, a double displacement reaction. Equation:  BaCl2+ Na2SO4 ------> BaSO4 (precipitate) + NaCl
