When Sodium Sulphate is added to Barium chloride solution...then a white coloured precipitate of barium Sulphate is formed and sodium chloride remains in the solution in aqueous form. It's a type of double displacement reaction.

Na2S04 + BaCl2 -----> BaSo4 + NaCl
