When FeSO4.7H2O is heated,it turns to colouless.
FeSO4.7H2O--------->FeSO4+7H2O
FeSO4.7H2O--------->FeSO4+7H2O

Solution:
Observations :
Change in color of crystals from green to brown. This is because of the ferrous sulfate crystals on heating will loose water molecules and turn to white which immediately turns brown due to formation of ferric oxide
Water droplet will be observed on the wall of the boiling tube. Removal of water molecules from the crystals will get condensed on the walls of boiling tube.
Chemical reaction:
[tex]FeSO_4.7H_2O\overset{\Delta }{\rightarrow} FeSO_4+7H_2O [/tex]
Decomposition reaction is taking place as as ferrous sulfate crystals are breaking down into smaller compounds that are ferric oxide, sulfur oxide and sulfur tri-oxide.
