here is your answer !!


pb(No3 )2 + KI ==> PbI2 + KNO3


here there is formation of yellow precipitate of PbI2 ( lead iodide )


this is double displacement reaction because there is exchange of ions between potassium iodide and lead nitrate.





in other words we can also say that it is a precipitate reaction because there is formation of yellow precipitate of lead iodide.



as we can also balance this reaction for your convenience :-

2Ki + Pb( NO3 )2 ==> PbI2 + 2KnO3



so simply there is formation of yellow colour precipitate of lead iodide and this is double displacement reaction as well as precipitate reaction.
