What is observed when the following are being burnt , calcium metal , pottasium metal , Copper metal, sodium metal and magnesium metal ??

Sodium metal burns quickly with a bright yellow flame.

Magnesium metal burns with a brilliang white flame.

Iron does not burn . Hot meral glows in oxygen and gives off yellow sparks.

Copper also doest not burn. Metal eventually coats with a black layer.

Calcuim : Orange flame, vigorous reaction to form CuO

Potassium : Violet flame, violent reaction to form K2O

Copper : Blue flame, no reaction

Sodium : Yellow flame, violent reaction to form Na2O

Magnesium : White flame, vigorous reaction to form MgO
