IT IS THE THIRD CRANIAL NERVE,IT ORIGINATES FROM THE MOTOR NEURONS IN THE OCULOMOTOR.IT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE NERVE SUPPLY AROUND THE EYE AND EYELID MUSCLE WHICH IS SITUATED IN THE UPPER PART.IT IS CONSISTED OF MOTOR FIBERS

The oculomotor nerve is the third cranial nerve.It enters the orbit via the superior orbital fissure and controls most of the eye movements including construction of the pupil and maitaining an open eyelid by innervating the levator palperbrae superior muscle.
