Ohm's law: If the temperature and other physical state are constant, the potential difference between to point of a conductor is directly proportional to it's electric current.

if the potential of two point of a conductor are Va & Vb and the electric current is I, then (Va-Vb) proportional to I => V=RI, where R is the resistance of the conductor & V is the potential difference.

To verify

V is directly proportional to I

V by I=constant=R

V=IR

Thus,the ratio of V:I is a constant this constant is called as the resistance of the conductor.
