Potential (V) of the circuit is directly proportional to the current (I) flowing through the circuit.

V=IR

here R is the resistance of the material and used as proportionality constant here.

Ohm's law:-

According to this law, Electric flowing in a conductor is directly proportional to the potential difference across two ends of conductor.

V = IR

where,

v = potential difference

I = Electric current

R = resistance
