Objective:

To verify the Ohm's law.

Statement of Ohm's Law:

Ohm’s law states that at a constant temperature, current 'I' through a conductor between two points is directly proportional to the potential difference or voltage 'V', across the two points. That is

Thus, the ratio V : I is a constant. This constant is called as the resistance (R) of the conductor.

Hey friends ....

Ohm's law -- According to ohm 's law the current following through conductor is directly proportional to the potential difference across its ends provide the temperature remains constant and the physical state of conductor remain the same .

In a metallic conductor AB,The temperature remains constant and the straight .if V is potential difference the ends A and B,and i is current through it

we have

I'directly proportional' V

or I=1/R×V

I=V/R

where R is constant ,known as resistance of the conductor .

Hope it helps you!!
