a law stating that electric current is proportional to voltage and inversely proportional to resistance.

At a constant temperature, when a current moves in a circuit it's potential difference is directly proportional to the current.
Mathematically
V=IR
Where R is a constant term know as resistance.
Formula to find rho is
R=rho*length/area.
