under a constant temperature the potential difference across a conductor is directly proportional to the the current passing through the conductor is ohms law

potential difference = V

current = I

V is directly proportional to I

V= IR

R is

resistance

constant of proportionality

if current increases the potential difference also increases if current decreases potential difference also get decreased
