OIL CONSERVATION :-
Petroleum is natures gift all through our past and a life to our future. A century ago, petroleum – what we call oil, was just an obscure commodity; today it is almost as vital as water to human needs.
USES OF OIL :-
Modern day technology has allowed humans to develop new industries, all thanks to petroleum which has revived almost any economy where petroleum has been found.Today, we are driving almost every part of our life through petrol and other oil products but it is a tragic irony that each one of us is contributing in our so called comfortable ways to the depletion of fuels which means a threat to our future.
CONSERVATION OF PETROLEUM PRODUCTS:-
Oil and gas conservation means their better and more efficient use with regard to economic, social or environmental costs and benefits, resulting in attainment of higher energy use efficiencies, minimization of wasteful practices and wastage and protection of the environment.
Ways to Conserve Oil :-
Plant bigger gardens to have less mowing space.
electric and solar powered cars are being made.
walk, bike, carpool, or take public subways/buses whenever possible.
use a GPS to find the fastest way to get somewhere without using too much oil.
use cloth reusable bags for groceries
