The measure of efficiency in teaching besides the material presented narrows down to the process used in the teaching system. If we consider the available methods for teaching today, the debate will definitely occur between the old schooling systems versus the new schooling system.

In traditional education all students are lumped together under one instructor, and basic subjects read, write, arithmetic. Individuality is not promoted. Modern education consist of choices, online, independent, education intervention. Social groups are diverse, students can be a cool nerd, jocks can be on the honor roll, people from two different styles walks of life can find common ground and become friends. College is an option for students willing to work hard for scholarships, there are choices. Proms Kings and Queens are not the most important topic.
