potential difference is directly proportional to current flowing through the circuit
V is proportional to I
V=RI
R is constant proportional where R is resistance of any conductor

Ohm's law states that the current flowing through a conductor is directly proportional to the potential difference across the ends of the conductor.

i.e. V/I = constant

= R

In other words, if 'V' increases, the current 'I' also increases.

Hope this answers helps.
