Wind energy refers to the energy - usually electricity, but not always - that can be produced by tapping into the kinetic energy of moving air, otherwise known as wind.Biomass energy refers to energyproduced using dead biomass as an energy source.

Heya mate, Here is ur answer

Biomass is the organic substance consisting of animals and plant wastes. When sunlight falls on them, its energy get stored.

When this is burned, the energy is released.

Wind energy is produced by moving blades through force of wind. This runs the turbine and produce energy.

The difference are -

1) Biomass energy is caused by organic compounds like animal wastes whereas wind energy is derived from inorganic air.

2) Biomass energy causes pollution but wind energy does not causes pollution.

3) Biomass energy could be used directly, but wind energy could not be.
