Answer:

I think you want to know (one to one function) & (onto function)

first : one to one function means that

if function f : A ----> B   where A domain B range

function said to be ono to one if

f(a) = f(b) implies a= b

for example f(x) = x-1

for every a ,b        f(a) = f(b)

                              a-1 = b-1

                                a = b

second : onto function means that

if function f : A ----> B   where A domain B range

for every element in B is the image of element in A

Moreover

1-1 also called injective

onto also called surjective

1-1 and onto together of " 1-1 correspondence " called bijective
