Some colonist people still thought themselves as British, and they cannot concentrate on the revolt against Britain.


Actually, they are influenced by the British people and they worked under the British Government.


So when people raise their voice against Britain and went for revolt against British Government, only few colonists support the British Government to protect their jobs.
