Exchange of gases in plants is an example of simple diffusion process.
The leaves of the plants have minute openings in them called stomata through which gaseous exchange occurs.
Plants take in Carbon dioxide for photosynthesis and give out oxygen through stomata during the day time.
And throughout the day they take in oxygen and liberate carbon dioxide for their respiration.
All these gaseous exchange takes place through diffusion.
