ONSHORE breeze is a wind that blows from a large body of water towards a landmass. It develops due to difference in air pressure created by the differential heating of water and land . It occurs in daytime.

OFFSHORE wind is the wind that goes from.land towards the sea. Just the opposite of Onshore wind. It occurs at night.
